Jesmonite AC100 is the ideal resin to bring your creativity to life. It is an alternative to polyester or polyurethane for all types of decorative pieces. Ideal for use with silicone moulds.
Acrylic pigment for Jesmonite resin. Apply a maximum of 2% by weight. AC100 resin produces the most vivid colours as it has a higher acrylic resin content.
Pigments are sold by weight and each colour has a different density, so it may appear that some colours are only half full. This is particularly true of white, oxides and terracotta.
Jesmonite AC84 is a two-component water-based acrylic resin, ideal for creating stone-finished pieces from moulds. Its high resistance and detail fidelity allow for durable and realistic results, with a texture that simulates natural stone, but without the actual weight. It is easy to use, customisable with pigments and safe as it does not emit toxic vapours. Perfect for sculptors, designers and creators of artistic and decorative pieces.

Reslin® activator and oil. A silicone mould. A convection oven. A bowl. A spatula or mixing rod. Any additives such as GlassRoxx, colour pigment, or other creative additives of your choice.
Always use one part Reslin® activator for every two parts Reslin® oil. Therefore, the ratio is 1 to 2.
You should heat Reslin® by following these steps: Heat the Reslin® oil and Reslin® activator for 20 minutes at 60 °C (140 °F). Let the mixture stand for 20 minutes. Heat for 20 minutes at 90 °C (200 °F). Increase the temperature to 120 °C (250 °F) and reheat for 20 minutes. Important: Do not use a microwave to heat your Reslin®. For best results, use a convection oven.
The hardness of Reslin® depends on the additives you use and the thickness of the object. Without additives and with a thin layer (5 mm), the object may remain flexible. If you use an additive, such as GlassRoxx®, the object will harden. The finer the grain, the harder the object will be.
Yes, you can add different materials to the Reslin® mixture, such as: powdered pigments, alcohol ink or natural mica for colour. GlassRoxx® for extra texture and colour (keep in mind the proportions of 2 to 3). Flakes of Jesmonite, coffee, herbs, dried flowers, spices and even Reslin® glass beads in 18 colours to achieve unique effects.
Note: Pay attention to the specific gravity of the materials. Materials with a lower specific gravity will float to the top of the mould. Dried berries, star anise, leaves, etc., are light and will float to the top of the mould during firing. So they will be at the bottom of the object. Substances with a high specific gravity sink in the mould! If you add a small amount of Reslin® or GlassRoxx® glass beads, everything will sink to the bottom and you will have a rim at the top of the object.
If you place the mould filled with Reslin® on a vibrating plate, most of the air bubbles will disappear. Keep in mind that the added materials may sink when using a vibrating plate. Depending on the effect you want to achieve, you can choose whether or not to vibrate the mould.
It is important to mix the Reslin® well and choose the right cooling method. The object can be removed from the oven immediately after heating and placed in cold water for faster cooling.
Almost anything can be mixed with Reslin®, but avoid materials that contain water, such as fresh fruit. These can rot and biodegrade the mixture. Mix low-density substances with care, as they may float to the surface of the object.
Yes, Reslin® is made from 100% natural and biodegradable components and is completely safe for contact with food.
Hot drinks: it is not recommended to pour hot drinks into a Reslin® object, as the heat may affect its structure. Candles: Reslin® is not suitable for candles, as the flame may burn the material.
Ensure that your object is at least 5 mm thick, especially in the thinnest areas. Examine your mould carefully or use a Reslin® silicone mould tested by us for best results.
Sticky spots can appear when Reslin® is not mixed properly. This can cause Reslin® activator residue to form strings and not activate completely.
No, but we strongly recommend heating Reslin® in a conventional oven to ensure it is fully activated. If you are patient, you can also wait for the mixture to harden on its own (after 36 hours). This will slightly lighten the colour (if you are not using colour pigments).
No, Reslin® is non-toxic and does not contain any harmful volatile substances, so there is no need to wear gloves or safety goggles. However, be careful with the activator, as it contains acids that can irritate the eyes.
Yes, all silicone moulds can be used to work with Reslin®. But depending on the type of silicone mould you use, your object may have a satin or matte finish after demoulding.
