Pigments are sold by weight and each colour has a different density, so it may appear that some colours are only half full. This is particularly true of white, oxides and terracotta.

Topcoat is a modified gelcoat with added paraffin, which allows it to be applied as a thick coat of paint. It is the ideal gelcoat for repairs to bathtubs, boats, shower trays and any other items made from GRP (glass-reinforced polyester).
As it contains paraffin, Topcoat is easy to sand and polish, leaving a smooth, satin finish, but the surface can be made shiny once it has been polished.
It should not be confused with paraffin-free gelcoat.

Paraffined styrene with 5% paraffin content, ideal as an additive for unsaturated polyester resins. This product eliminates surface tackiness after curing, making sanding and finishing fiberglass parts easier.
