Acrylic pigment for Jesmonite resin. It is applied to a maximum of 2% by weight. With the AC100 resin the most vivid colors are obtained by having a higher acrylic resin content.
Pigments are sold by weight and each color has a different density, so for some colors it may appear that the bottle is only half full. Especially white, oxides and terracotta.
Jesmonite AC84 is a two-component, water-based acrylic resin, perfect for creating stone-like pieces from molds. Known for its high durability and precise detail reproduction, it offers a realistic stone finish without the heavy weight. Cobalt octoate is a solution used to modify the curing time of polyester resins.
The recommended proportion is between 1 and 2 grams per kilogram of resin.
It is very important not to mix it directly with polyester resin catalysts, as this causes a severe exothermic reaction that can generate fire.
It should be noted that adding cobalt octoate to the resin also significantly reduces the working time and greatly increases the temperature that can be reached.
