Acrylic pigment for Jesmonite resin. It is applied to a maximum of 2% by weight. With the AC100 resin the most vivid colors are obtained by having a higher acrylic resin content.
Pigments are sold by weight and each color has a different density, so for some colors it may appear that the bottle is only half full. Especially white, oxides and terracotta.
Jesmonite AC84 is a two-component, water-based acrylic resin, perfect for creating stone-like pieces from molds. Known for its high durability and precise detail reproduction, it offers a realistic stone finish without the heavy weight. Working with Reslin® The 6 steps below provide a summary of the manual. However, we recommend that you also consult the detailed manual for all the important information, tips and tricks before you start working with Reslin®.

Weighing the correct ratio
For best results, it is essential to use the correct ratio of Reslin® activator and Reslin® oil. This is 1 part Reslin® activator to 2 parts Reslin® oil. Preparing the Reslin® components It is essential that the Reslin® components reach the correct temperature. Heat the Reslin® activator and oil in an oven for 20 minutes at 60 °C (140 °F).
Mixing
Stir the mixture carefully for several minutes. At this stage, you can add additives to the Reslin® mixture, such as mica, plant elements, minerals, pigments, etc.
Filling the mould
The preparation method will depend on the composition of the Reslin® mixture. After filling the mould, allow the mixture to rest for 20 minutes before placing it in the oven. Heating the object in two phases Phase 1: Place the object in a convection oven and heat it for 20 minutes at 90 °C. Phase 2: Increase the temperature to 120 °C and heat again for 20 minutes.
Cooling and demoulding.
After the second heating stage, you can immediately proceed to cool the object. Allow the object to cool in the air or place the mould in cold water.
